Say Something: Capistrano Unified School District, in partnership with the Orange County Sheriff's Department and SaySomething.net provides a 24/7 hotline for students, staff, and parents who may have information regarding student safety, vandalism, bullying, or other suspicious activity.
The number is 1-844-572-9669. Students must still adhere to the cell phone policy at LFMS, but are encouraged to report before or after school hours. If a student wishes to report during the school day, then he/she is encouraged to come directly to the office. We encourage community use of this program to keep LFMS the safe, great place that it is. This is not a replacement for 911, as the school may not be able to receive or react to a tip before 24-48 hours. If there is a serious emergency, then please call 911 immediately.
Although all reports are handled with confidentiality, your reports are not anonymous and can be tracked by the school and local law enforcement. Please make sure all reports are legitimate or disciplinary actions may be taken.
You are encouraged to text or phone in reports of:
- Abuse
- Bullying
- Depression
- Drug use/sales
- Fights/Pre-Fights
- Safety concerns about a friend
- Threats to students or campus safety
- Suspicious activity
- Vandalism
